:: San Pietro
 

Following Via Gregorio VIi,on the left immediately you are in the proximity of the colonnade of St Peter.It was designed by Gianlorenzo Bernini and it is the first in absolute architecture realized in open space.
The basilica interior is embellished by the famous canopy realized by the Bernini and by some funeral monuments sculptured by the most famous architects of the Renaissance and Baroque.
Particularly striking is the dome climb of St.Peter with an overview of the city.
Further on advisable to visit the Treasure Museum and the Sacred Vatican Grotos visitable from 7.00 a.m.Here is buried Jhon Paul II,died in 2005.
Continuing the sightseeing about 800 meters walking distance from the Basilica and along the Vatican Walls,you'll reach the entrance of Vatican Museum.
Wich house the famous Sistina Chapel by Michelangelo,the Papal apartments decorated by Raffaello,and numerous paintings.

 

 
:: Trastevere
 

The roman neighbourhood of the city where the streets are still filled with '800 atmosphere life.The itinerary starts from Sidney Sonnino Square reachable with tram 8 from Largo Argentina.Here you meet two churches:San Crisogono within is preserved a mosaic of Pietro Cavallini,artist of the twelveth century.And the church
of St.Agata, that houses the statue of Madonna de Noantri,patron of the quarter trastevere.After crossing Viale Trastevere continuing on the right side we reach the church of San Francesco a Ripa thath hosts the sculpture made by Gianlorenzo Bernini of Beata Albertani.Retutning back to Sonnino Square and moving along Via della Lungaretta you will meet Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere.Visiting the basilica you will relivethe atmosphere of the Middle Age,through the testimony of the important mosaic in the abside.
Precious mosaics externally are situated at the topo of the church.in the evening the quarter s very cosy thanks to its various and numerous clubs,pubs and retaurants.

 
:: San Lorenzo
 

Historical and popoular quarter of Rome is a must for tourists.It was the only quarter of Rome that has suffered a bombing and it was almost destroyed in the Second World War.
The citizens have rebuilt it by hands and by hearth.During the day is full of artisans and artists.In the evening is one of the best areas filled with restaurants,pubs,clubs.Attended by all levels of society but especially by students from nearly university San Lorenzo provides you a choice of roman cousine.There are many other kinds of reasons to visit this area from live concerts to the macroboitic cousine,the nightly entertainment in piazza della Visione,the artisan markets,the wine.

 
:: Basilica di S. Giovanni in Laterano
 

This is the Main Roman Basilica, the ancient in absolute.originally built in  313 A.D. has compassed several happenings.Restaured in 1740 ,under Clemente VII ,is considered architecnolically the symbol of transition from Baroque to Neoclassical style.
Inside we find the Holy Door,sevral fuenral monuments and many fantatsics masterpieces.Outside we have the Baptistery;The Holy Syep and The sancta Sanctorum.

 
:: Campo dè Fiori
 

Starting the trip from Largo Argentina,a very crowded square animated from dailylife ,continuing to Viia Arenula in the direction to Lungotevere,on the right side after a few meters we find Piazza Cairoli.here is the churcch of San Carlo ai Cantinari.Here you can appreciate precious paintings by Giovanni Lanfranco and Pietro da Cortona.Along Via dè Giubbonari on the right side you rreach Largo dè Librari.You will meet one of the most characteristic churches of Rome: St.Barbara.After a few meters you reach Campo dè Fiori,square in the center of wich is located the statue of Giordano Bruno.Inquisition historical victim,Prosecuted for heresy and executed in the public Square.
During the day there is a fruit and vegetable high quality market;at night the square change atmosphere thanks to its wine-bar;pubs;retaurants; characteristics streets artists with their perfomance;tourists;artisans; low-price fashion store night open.
